Paul Gaffney brings a wealth of experience to the Omni Logistics executive team with a robust background in tech and logistics. Gaffney previously served as the chief technology officer for Kohl’s and DICK’S Sporting Goods.
DALLAS —May 2, 2022 — Omni Logistics, a technology-driven provider of global multimodal logistics solutions and specialized supply chain services, today announced Paul Gaffney as the company’s first chief digital officer.
As Chief Digital Officer, Gaffney will support the company in defining and executing its digital strategy, including digital transformation initiatives, seamless connection of operations systems, and optimization of digital customer platforms.
“Omni Logistics had been on my radar for some time as the company and its leadership team presented a bold and unique vision that stood out in the logistics and transport sector. Gaffney brings more than three decades of unique and deep experience to the Omni Logistics team with senior leadership roles in supply chain as well as technology at well known brands. Prior to joining Omni, Paul served as Kohl’s chief technology and supply chain officer. Gaffney also worked at Charles Schwab as their senior vice president of technology where he launched Schwab’s active trader platform. Previously he also worked as the executive vice president of supply chain for Staples, senior vice president of Home Depot and chief technology officer of DICK’s Sporting Goods.
Paul has a diverse background in developing industry leading software, having patented multiple solutions, as well as managing global supply chains for major retailers. Additionally, Gaffney is a 2009 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute, an international nonprofit organization that fosters conversations with some of the brightest leaders globally. Gaffney still serves as a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network and volunteers as a moderator for the institute’s executive leadership seminars.
