The Operations Development Program (ODP) is an accelerated operations and leadership development program that is enabling the next generation of supply chain professionals to drive the future of tech-enabled logistic and operational excellence. The ODP environment blends classroom, mentorship, and experiential learning through a rotational program of core supply chain functions. Through on-the-job training and mentorship, participants will gain invaluable real-world education and leadership experience across Omni’s global business. This program offers an exciting, accelerated path to become supply chain experts and leaders.
Forging the Future of Supply Chain
- Open to all majors
- Completion of a bachelor’s or master’s degree within 12 months of program start
- Proven teamwork and leadership experience
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and thrive in a rapid-paced environment
- Eagerness to learn foundational supply chain operations skills and experience
- Engage in advanced classroom learning and simulations across functional disciplines and supply chain products, including domestic forwarding, expedite, international air, ocean, warehousing, and value-added services
- Solve important customer challenges in the Operations COE, while completing rotations through key functional disciplines including costing, rating, routing, tracking, customer service, and account management
- Work with a diverse group of leaders and professionals to broadly experience the functional areas and develop professional competencies.
