DALLAS —May 2, 2022 — Omni Logistics, a technology-driven provider of global multimodal logistics solutions and specialized supply chain services, today announced Paul Gaffney as the company’s first chief digital officer.

As Chief Digital Officer, Gaffney will support the company in defining and executing its digital strategy, including digital transformation initiatives, seamless connection of operations systems, and optimization of digital customer platforms.

“Omni Logistics had been on my radar for some time as the company and its leadership team presented a bold and unique vision that stood out in the logistics and transport sector. The opportunity to join the company and be part of the broader digital transformation to better serve our customers is very exciting,” said Paul Gaffney. “In my role at Omni, I hope to build and strengthen the platforms and systems that answer our customers’ most pressing challenges with data-backed solutions.”

Gaffney brings more than three decades of unique and deep experience to the Omni Logistics team with senior leadership roles in supply chain as well as technology at well known brands. Prior to joining Omni, Paul served as Kohl’s chief technology and supply chain officer. Gaffney also worked at Charles Schwab as their senior vice president of technology where he launched Schwab’s active trader platform. Previously he also worked as the executive vice president of supply chain for Staples, senior vice president of Home Depot and chief technology officer of DICK’s Sporting Goods.

Paul has a diverse background in developing industry leading software, having patented multiple solutions, as well as managing global supply chains for major retailers. Gaffney still serves as a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network and volunteers as a moderator for the institute’s executive leadership seminars.

Paul is a key component in our vision to scale the company and deepen our relationships with customers and providers,” said JJ Schickel, Omni Logistics CEO. “In a technology driven world, we are passionate about having someone who brings supply chain and technology expertise to the platforms and solutions that can further differentiate Omni’s position as a leader in the logistics industry.”
